Strawberry, gummy candy, black summer plum, honeysuckle notes. Palate is like a wild horse that's been tamed with all the elements strongly in place; Tannins, freshness, berries harnessed into an intriguing palate with a hint of sharp spice. Tinta de Toro (local Tempranillo varietal) from 90+ year old dry farmed biodynamic vineyards in the Toro region of Spain. "Matsu" is the Japanese term for wait, which inspires their focus on care for the land and sustainable viticulture. This is from Vintae, a project created by José Miguel Arambarri Terrero and his sons Richi and José Miguel to explore the wine terroirs of Spain.
