Cranberry, nutmeg, star anise, baking spices, cinnamon, sweet purple flowers, lilac, violets. Palate is lively and fresh, laced with red raspberry. Terroir-driven, the Aroa wines are low intervention and sustainable winemaking at its best, produced from organic (since inception) vineyards situated at cool, high elevation in the Northern Spain area of Navarra. "From vineyards to winery, [the wine] is made with as little impact on the environment as possible." This is from Vintae, a project created by José Miguel Arambarri Terrero and his sons Richi and José Miguel to explore the wine terroirs of Spain.
