Nose is full of sea minerals + a salty marine layer with charred lemon. Palate starts with a burst of lemon fruit, and finishes with fossils and green apple. Winemaker Xurxo Alba focuses on organic, biodynamic + experimental winemaking in a challenging climate, extremely influenced by the Atlantic. Minimal intervention, little to no sulfur (traditionally used to stabilize wine). Xurxo's family has been farming and making Albariño in the O Salnés sub-region of Rías Baixas for generations however only recently the family started bottling and selling their wines.
