Winemaker Tasting: Franco Lourens of Lourens Family Wines
We are very excited to welcome another one of our friends from South Africa, where winemaking is in a wonderful renaissance. The focus on specific vineyard sites and terroir along with old world winemaking techniques is giving us a storm of iconic and masterful wines.
Franco Lourens is an incredibly talented winemaker; his wines are charming, ethereal and delicious. We've featured his wines in wine club and on our menu, and now we can hear from Franco about his vision and what drives his artistic winemaking expressions.

We will taste his four wines, "Skuinskap", "Lindi Carien", "Howard John" and "Lua Ilse". We will then invite you to choose a glass of wine from the lineup to complete the evening.
In addition to Franco's wines, you will be treated to a small snack of cheese, prosciutto & Marcona almonds.
