Dark and inky, with deep juicy notes of blackberry swirled with lavender, cedar with touches of mint, fresh blueberries. Palate is smooth and juicy. Chateau La Cardonne sits atop Medoc's highest plateau and has produced Cru Bourgeois for over three centuries. They produce an elegant fruit-forward style which presents as friendly and feminine in style. They in 1990 built the largest underground cellar in the region, nicknamed "the Cathedral" which allows them to cellar at least 10 separate vintages and release them as they become ready to drink. The 2018 vintage is comprised of 40% Merlot, 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot.
