Bright red cherry, red licorice, hickory, sweet anise. Palate is old world, beautifully classic with hints of green tea, raspberry. Lemberger is the German name for the grape varietal Blaufränkisch, most widely grown in Austria. Bunter Mergel translates to “colored marl”, referring to the distinctive terroir of the Häder vineyard. Weingut Karl Haidle is the oldest private winery in the Remstal, led by his grandson, Moritz Haidle. A true artist at heart, a freestyle rapper and graffiti artist, is tireless in balancing tradition and intuition in winemaking. Fermented with native yeasts, aged in neutral barrique. Demeter biodynamic certified.
