The grape, Grignolino, is originally from the Piedmont region of Italy. It is usually made in a light-bodied style with distinct strawberry and cherry notes. Heitz has been cultivating Grignolino since the winery’s inception, and this is the highly allocated, limited production rosé that we’ve finally been able to snag a tiny bit of this year!
Beautifully bright and a vibrant pink hue. Direct press (a first with the 2018 vintage) to allow a fresher, more delicate wine to emerge. Notes of ripe strawberry, peach, orange zest and grapefruit with vibrant acidity keeping it fresh.
Fermented and aged 4 months in 100% stainless steel tank. Organic.
