Rustic blackberry + black currant, hints of cedar plank, sage, dried herbs. Palate is bright with blueberry, berries, savory notes on a rocky, mineral palate. In 1978, Tullio Zamò officially founded the estate by purchasing five hectares of vineyards on Rocca Bernarda hill, yet the family has worked the land here since the 1920s. Over time they expanded and now work with indigenous grapes from their three unique terroirs, Rosazzo, Buttrio and Rocca Bernarda. Equally Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Refosco, from 25-30 year old vines reflects the unique history of the area. Fermented in Stainless steel and aged in French barrique.
