Palate is pretty with red floral notes and red delicious apple skin. 100% Nebbiolo from Barbaresco in the Piemonte region of Northwest Italy. Barbaresco is often compared to its neighbor, Barolo, as it was historically in the shadows of the bigger, brawnier, more prestigious wines of Barolo. However, in the 1960s it emerged in its own right, often considered the charming sister with its unique elegance and aromatics. Brothers Antonio and Raimondo founded their winery in 1938 with the motto, "Quality at any cost", producing honest, classically styled wines.
