Melon, yellow flowers, white peach, lime kaffir. Palate is soft lemon curd, saline minerality and delicate flowers on a nectarine finish. Catarratto is the most typical and widely planted white grape variety in Sicily. Aged 3 months on the lees (for texture) in stainless steel. Barbazzale is the name of the “contrada,” or wine district, in which the grapes are planted in the volcanic soil of Mt. Etna, lending a remarkable minerality to the wine.
