Ripe, dark fruit and plum layered with herbs, thyme, purple flowers with blackberry and blueberry. A sort of umph coming from the Cabernet Sauvignon, balanced out by Mencia creating a smooth, rounded and expressive balance of fruit and earth. Harvested from both Estate vineyards and long-term grower partners, fermented in stainless steel, aged in American oak barrels before aging further in bottle. The Bierzo region rests in Northwestern Spain, protected by mountains, known for Mencia and Godello, with winemaking dating to the Phoenicians. Vinos de Arganza is a family run winery, with Víctor Robla and his wife Ángeles Varela at the helm.
