TASTING NOTES
With fresh, ripe red fruits, layers of cranberry, cherry fruit and spice with
distinct earth notes. Lively on the palate, with silky tannins that give way to a
balanced density, with continued layers of forest floor, strawberry preserves,
and herbaceous complexity.

VINEYARDS
Built on an immense legacy and good-old-fashioned hard work, Foppiano
has been producing wine since the estate was founded in 1896. Located just
south of Healdsburg, the winery sits on 160 acres in the renowned Russian
River Valley. Cool morning fog and warm summer days create an ideal microclimate for balanced grape growing. Today, the vineyards are planted with
Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, and Sauvignon Blanc on the warmer bench lands, and
Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on the cooler blocks adjacent to the Russian River.
