Wildly alluring and captivating with oceans of seabed minerality coupled with notes of lime trees, unripe pineapple and minty herbal qualities. Palate is stony yet laced with just enough citrus and tropical fruit to achieve a sublime balance. 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the McGinley, China Blue & Santa Ynez vineyards in the Santa Ynez Valley where "the soils share the tectonic history of the nearby mountains—a story that includes shallow seas and meandering rivers." Winemaker Justin Willet is a native of Santa Barbara, he focuses on Loire Valley varieties of Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc.

Lieu Dit focus on varieties indigenous to the Loire Valley, with Sauvignon Blanc being the winery’s primary focus.  Lieu Dit is a partnership between friends and wine stars, Justin Willett (Tyler Winery owner & winemaker) and Eric Railsback (top sommelier and owner of Les Marchands wine bar in Santa Barbara). 

Fruit is sourced from three vineyards in Happy Canyon - Grassini, McGinley, and Star Lane. Fermented in both tank and barrel; aged in neutral barrels.
