Cult-now-classic winery Turley was founded by Larry Turley in 1993 after deciding to pursue a more focused project after founding Frog's Leap Winery in 1981 with John Williams.  Larry's passion for Zinfandel and Petite Syrah, especially old vines, drives the essence and core of Turley. Since 2013 winemaking has been led by Tegan Passalacqua who delivers on the vision for 50 vineyards across California. The "Juvenile" bottling is special in that it is made from the younger vines that have been replanted in several of their best old vine sites. The 6-25 years-old "young" vines are tagged and picked separately to make this unique bottling.
