"A Tuscan-inspired blend from both the rolling west Paso Robles foothills and the sandy central river bottoms. Plenty of fruit and California sunshine, while keeping the restraint and refinement of the old country."

TASTING NOTES // MUDDLED RED RASPBERRY, A HINT OF RUST, THE ESSENCE OF MENTHOL, FANCY YET CASUAL

2019 Vintage: 

Brambly berry, baked blueberry, cinnamon stick, clove, savory eucalyptus + vanilla bean notes.  Hay, tart blackberry on a structured yet generous palate.  This is old world meets new world - generous berry yet not over the top with terroir elements adding dimension.  50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Sangiovese aged 12 months in American Oak, 50% of which is new.  Grapes come from Tommy Town, Alta Gaviota vineyards farmed by Ben Merz and Juve Buenrostro in Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara.
