Txakoli is a white wine style of the Basque region, with easy, soft bubbles and a mineral, beachy vibe. 85% Hondarribi Zuri with 15% Chardonnay gives this wine incredible texture and an easy aura of friendliness. The wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Minerally, fresh citrus & a streak of saline.

Mokoroa, a family-owned winery founded in 2008 in Zarautz, Basque Country, produces top-quality Txakoli using Hondarrabi Zuri, Hondarrabi Beltza, and Chardonnay from their 18-acre vineyards.
Mokoroa txakoli winery was founded in 2008 by Jose Antonio Mokoroa and his family.
Mokoroa owns 6 hectares of vineyards, all trellised and on slopes, facing the Cantabrian sea. Hondarrabi Zuri is the local variety that occupies most of the vineyards. However, there is also a percentage of Chardonnay. Both are harvested when they reach the optimal ripening criteria to produce a top quality Txakoli.
