Fresh, frosted tangerine with notes of pear, white flowers, lemon. Palate is fresh yet smooth with delicate and defined minerality laced with lemon ice. 100% Moscatel de Alejandría from steep, high altitude sites planted from 1974 to 1984. A project of Telmo Rodríguez and his partner Pablo Eguzkiza, they were inspired by the remote and forgotten landscapes of Spain. They knew historically great wines had grown in Málaga, known as "Mountain Wines", grown in a rugged mountainous inland area rather than by a major port and as such, they faded into obscurity after phylloxera. Telmo and Pablo have rediscovered the glory of Málaga’s mountain wine.
