Shimmering sunshine hue. Acacia, hawthorn, pear, honeycomb, orchard apple. Fresh with a honeyed texture layered on notes of tangerine, orchard stone fruits, green apple. Stefano and his French-born wife, Leah manage the carefully tended vines in the Pergola appellation of the Marche region of Italy. Stefano's father helped to establish the tiny "Pergola" appellation, himself a second generation winemaker. 100% Bianchello (Biancame) planted in 1980; fermented and aged in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts.
