Green apple and mandarin "cuties"; fresh and sleek with notes of lemongrass, English garden and orange peel. Bright, friendly and not overly complex... a perfect spring & summer sipper.  From the South of France, this is a 50/50 blend of Picpoul and Roussanne, with freshness and zip from the Picpoul, herbal notes from the Roussanne and a tinge of weight and texture from the six months of lees aging. "From near Pezenas, nestled close to the Thau lagoon, where the soils are a mixture of garrigue and limestone. The terroir gives fruit in this small blend diverse flavours, while the maritime influences keep the acidity high and the palate fresh."
