Bright and juicy notes of sweet lilac, red roses, ripe berries, baked strawberry, grilled pepper, tea. Palate teems with crushed florals, forest floor and raspberry. 100% Cabernet Franc from their Chinon vineyard that runs along both banks of the River Vienne on the south side of the Loire, offering a semi-oceanic climate. The vines average 10-50 years, set in flint and clay with underlying yellow chalk that has some alluvium ore and flint dating back to the Turonien period (90-94 million years ago).
