MCV ‘1105’, 2014
Paso Robles is known for big wines, but many are rather one dimensional and unimpressive. The ‘1105’ is a shining example of how to deliver a big mouthful of fruit -- rich, dense & velvety with luxury, balance & style. The winemaker calls it “Chateau Neuf du Pape on steroids”.
‘1105’ is the flagship wine of MCV, with Petite Sirah as its star - a dark, rich, smooth, elegant, delicious and bold grape. The other grapes in the blend are supporting characters in this lovely production.
60% Petite Sirah, 21% Syrah, 7% Grenache, 6% Petit Verdot,
5% Tannat & 1% Viognier
