Flint, kumquat, juicy citrus. Palate is delicate and precise with refined and integrated notes of lemonade, pith and peel all on a flinty mineral structure. A wonderfully gorgeous and refined 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the esteemed Pouilly-Fumé appellation. The wines of Pouilly Fumé got this name as once the Sauvignon Blanc grapes were at maturity they are covered with a grey bloom, in a smoky color.  It also comes from the minerally flint smoky taste of the wines from this region, coming from silex soils. Domaine Figeat is a 10th generation winery, with André and his daughter Anne-Sophie at the helm of the historic estate.
