Dark plum and bramble berry, candied red raspberry, violets and red rose. Berries on the palate, hints of clove, ripe orange citrus nuance. Bright and balanced, with elegant minerality. 100% Gamay. Clos de la Roilette made by Alain Coudert is considered one of the finest producers in Beaujolais. In the 1920s, when the Fleurie appellation was created, the former land owner took a picture of his horse, and put it on the label, and now the wine is often referred to as the "wine with the horse on the label".
