Wild strawberry, garrigue, lilac, candied raspberry. Palate is playful and expressive, with plenty of fresh summer berries and a hint of juicy orange. 50% Grenache, 50% Syrah, vinified gently utilizing Stainless Steel. Caroline Pozzo di Borgo's wine is a new Mary Taylor selection. Caroline is the fifth generation steward of her family's estate, founded in 1857 by Auguste Gourjon. Caroline is trained as both an oenologist from the Bordeaux School as well as an agricultural engineer.  Her vineyards are situated on a pebble-strewn plateau, formed over centuries by the Rhône River, and is recognized as a protected biodiversity zone.
