Stony minerality on the nose, almond, violets, orchard fruits. Lime zest,  young pear, cool minerals on the palate.  This is a terroir-driven blend of Vermentino & Grenache Blanc from winemaker Steve Edmunds.  He's well known for making elegant, balanced, yet still powerful wines.  "Heart of Gold" is an beautiful expression of the terroir and fruit.
