Bold and masculine in style with feminine nuance. Spiced, dark fruit with loads of charm. Blend of native Portuguese varietals - Jaen, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro from 18-30 year old vineyards. Fermented and aged in used French oak vat and barrels.

Textura is a relatively new project Marcelo Araujo started with his family with the 2018 vintage.  Marcelo moved his family from Brazil to Portugal, leaving his prior career in investment management to follow his passion to make wine in the Dão region of Portugal, which is nestled against Portugal’s tallest inland mountain region, the Serra da Estrela.
