Cherry, perfumed lilac flowers, expressive berries.  Palate is feminine with crushed flowers and tart strawberries. 100% Cabernet Franc. The Regnard family acquired their first vines in 1791, shortly after the French Revolution. Led today by Gwenaëlle Regnard along with Antoine & Johandie Poupard, the Domaine now has over 80 hectares of Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc around the village of Trémont in the Anjou region of the Loire Valley where the climate is mild and the terroir rich and graced by maritime influences.
