Sweet blueberries and dark blackberries, caramel. Palate is gentle with a burst of fresh berries, fresh vanilla cream, pomegranate, a faint touch of mandarin, wild herbs. A fresh blend of 70% Malbec and 30% Cabernet Franc, made for food like pizza and pasta nights! Chateau Carbonneau was constructed in 1860, producing wine until the First World War when the estate was sold and vineyards pulled out during the subsequent economic crisis. It was not until the Franc de Ferriere family took over the Château in 1992 did the process of restoration begin.
