Bright charred lemon, orange peel, white flowers, Hawthorne. Palate has a full zingy and juicy feel with lemonade notes. A Mary Taylor White Label Series wine, chosen for its sense of place and showcasing the appellation's essence. The Quinta do Covão Estate has been in the Ferreira family since the 1970s, Lucia Ferreira is at the helm, focusing on cultivating indigenous varieties in this high altitude, rugged landscape. This white blend comes from the Quinta's 50-80 year old vines scattered along the slopes of the Estrela mountain range: Encruzado, Malvasia Fina, Bical and Gouveio. Ambient yeast, hand harvested. All stainless steel.

The refreshing tropicality flows to the palate, where the Malvasia Fina brings depth, and a smoky / white pepper essence to provide structure and body.
