Copper in hue; Spiced apple with bright chai, delicate wildflowers, chamomile and mint leaf. Palate is fully integrated with orchard fruits, spiced asian pear, white tea. Remarkably friendly, refined, expressive and bright. LAST CHANCE to taste the wines of this influential winery that helped usher in minimalism and purity in the German wine landscape (2023 is the last vintage for the winery). A blend of 45-year-old vines of equal parts Weißburgunder and Grauburgunder (Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris) fermented for 5 days on the skins before being gently pressed into steel. Matured 10 months on the lees with a light filtration before bottling.
