Dark anise, candied cinnamon, touch of minty notes, crushed black cherry. Light on its feet, yet filled with notes of black raspberry and cedar undertones. Megan Hughes as winemaker is now the second generation for the winery named after her parents last names, Barnard & Griffin. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah from 5 different vineyards in Yakima and Columbia Valleys as well as White Bluffs and Wahluke Slope. "Barnard Griffin Winery began in 1983 with borrowed grapes and a rented cellar, the dream of founders Deborah Barnard and Rob Griffin. It has since become one of Washington’s most enduring and award-winning wineries."
