"Lighter bodied red than Saperavi but still oozing in texture spice. Earthy and ripe this falls somewhere between an older styled Chianti and a nimble gamay.  The clay aging brings depth and texture to this otherwise lighter styled red.  This wine shines when decanted and given some time to breathe.  With air the acid increases and the rich red fruits come forward leaving a trace of earth on the palate."
