Rustic wilderness - hints of pine needles and fresh cut wood - play with soft tropical notes of papaya and mango.  On the palate, richness frames notes of green apple, pineapple and hints of white pepper... this is begging for cooler temps and snuggle by the fire time for white wine lovers.  Mostly Vermentino with touches of Cortese, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. Italian grapes have found a home in Australia, with vignerons finding inspiration with these varietals amidst climate changes.   Winemakers Ben Caldwell and Mauricio Ruiz Cantú focus on creating minimal intervention wine that is both vibrant and textural.
