Tyrnavos is located in the foothills of Mount Olympus and has for centuries been one of the main wine producing regions of Greece. The Zafeirakis family has been practicing viticulture for more than 100 years in the town of Tyrnavos; Christos Zafeirakis is the 4th generation winemaker, planting his first organic vineyard in 2005 after working in the Italian regions of Piemonte, Alto Adige & Tuscany. The winery and vineyards are run with biodynamic principles and minimal intervention in the cellar.
