Beautiful orange blossom, ripe lime, white flowers, lilies, quince, mandarin orange. Palate is full of tension and ease at the same moment, alive and present with a citrus melody on a structured palate with depth and elegance. This complexity and freshness is achieved through multiple picking dates and natural fermentation along with resting on the lees for 10 months. Winemaker Elizma Visser focuses on producing wines that capture the unique magical character of the Oliftansberg mountain slopes; Higher altitude with diurnal shifts, strong winds, ancient soils with shale, schist, sandstone & clay and by utilizing "echalas" staked vineyards.
