Fresh citrus bowl filled with white grapefruit, pomelo, lime blossom & citrus blossom. Palate is full of verve, deep with textural richness, structured with citrus and honeycomb and a pop of lemonade. Winemaker Banele Vakele is a bright light in the burgeoning South African fresh and young winemaking scene. He is just a few years into bottling wine under his own Tembela label, named after his late mother who was a beacon for faith, hope and belief. He has a gentle, intuitive touch with all of his wine. Just 70 cases of this 2022 Verdelho were bottled from organic 22 year-old Longridge Estate vineyards. 90% Verdelho - 10% Sémillon
