Rhubarb, currant, clove, raspberry, cocoa, cherry cola. Cool climate, taut tannins. Linear, firm. Brothers Jacques and François Lurton established the winery over thirty years ago just outside the small, historic village of Lolol in the Colchagua Valley. The "Humo Blanco" wines are devoted to varieties particularly well adapted to the climate of Lolol, known for the early morning mist that appears on the coastline.  Grown on un-grafted vines, in granite soils, farmed biodynamically and certified organic. Fermented on skins for 35 days, with pump over. Malolactic fermentation in barrel, aged ten months in French oak.
