Spice, bright pomegranate, red currant, dark cherry. Palate is bright and elevated with raspberry, rhubarb, Morello cherry and clove. Domaine des Tourelles was founded in 1868 by French adventurer François-Eugène Brun and is one of the oldest wineries still operating in Lebanon.The Brun family owned and ran the winery up until 2003 when  two local families - the Issa and Issa el-Khoury families -bought the property. It is a true boutique winery of the Middle East, with its practices of dry farming their organic vineyards, using indigenous yeasts and no fining or filtering of their wines resulting in a true expression of the terroir.
