Bursting evergreen and red fruits, hints of hickory, sage, eucalyptus + white pepper. Crunchy cranberry on the palate, with sun-tanned leather and rustic vanilla notes. Johan Meyer has been producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from selected organic vineyards across South Africa since 2010. Cuvee NoS is a blend of three such vineyards Palmiet (Elgin), Elandsrivier (Elandskloof) and Kleinrivier (Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge). Grapes are fermented whole cluster, with punchdowns + extended time with tannins. Gently pressed free-run juice was aged for 11 months in old French foudre. Bottled directly - unfined, unfiltered, no sulfur additions.
