Woodlands was established in the Margaret River in 1973 as one of the first five vineyards planted in this region and earned early acclaim in the 80s by producing Bordeaux-esque immaculate wines, and becoming one of the great estates of Australia. Blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 6% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot. Dark berry fruits backed up with cassis, toast and French oak. The palate is dense and structured, with an array of ripe mulberry and blackcurrant characters. Enjoy how the wine opens up and develops with some time in the glass.
