Salt, saline + seashells, lemon + coastal breeze. Palate is bright + stony with hints of red apple, mandarin + and a lemon pulp streak. These are the farthest Penedès vineyard from the Mediterranean, with more extreme temperatures. 40% Parellada (locally known as Montonec, "grape of the mountain") along with Macabeo, Xarel-lo, Chardonnay + Malvasia de Sitges. Can Feixes is recognized as the region's Grand Cru, they sell most of their grapes and finished wine off and keep only the best grapes to bottle under the family label.
